Our club has a special award that we use to honor one member each year. This award is called the Bob Gusky award and is named for one of our founding members Bob Gusky. Bob has been in our club continously since it started in 1976 and rarely misses a meeting.
The first Bob Gusky award was awarded to Bob himself at our 25th anniversary dinner.
At the end of each year, club members vote to decide which member best lives up to the example Bob has set in terms of service and devotion to Toastmasters in general and to Poway Black-Mountain Toastmasters specifically.
